Consortium Three
Consortium Three, L.P. Consortium Three, a $110 million equity fund has invested in seven assets totaling approximately $275 million to date. The projects, which include over one million square feet of rentable space, include a variety of office buildings located in growing suburban Washington submarkets, a residential/mixed use development site in downtown Washington, and the purchase of a real estate secured note. Among the fund's most notable transactions was its $53 million purchase of Ballston Tower in Arlington, Virginia, a complex transaction involving air rights above an existing shopping mall. The fund's purchase of Campus Commons I & II in the recovering Reston submarket of Washington, D.C. also demonstrates the fund manager's ability to locate opportunistic acquisitions.
